Today I was going to utilize my gift for provocative and salubrious prose in an attempt to entertain and amuse. Then a friend sent me a link to the above picture and well I was left breathless and speechless with just a tad feeling of being redundant.

Confused? Well, yes, that there is a life sized cake replica of the Bride.

A friend sent me a link to a Cake Site that has a plethora of Man Cakes. I know I have done a few articles on “Groom Cakes” already, but some of these cakes are truly fascinating. For example the rock climbing up a stream cake with blue waterfall and rushing rapids icing (i can feel my teeth melt!)

I found this one on Geekologie the other day. I think this cake is probably the most elaborate wedding/groom cake EVER made.

Now here is a Blog post I can get behind. In fact it is downright salubrious! Imagine asking what the Groom wants for the wedding cake?! Whaaaaa?! You mean I could get a cake in the shape of Iron Man? or Catherine Bell XBox Chocolate triple-tiered with white icing and Lace? Sweeet.

I think we all know that the wedding is all about the Bride, as it should be. Let’s face it, men plan for a wedding pretty much five days before it happens. Women folk, on the other hand, have been in some form of planning mode for this day for their entire lives. Yup, pretty much from the first time they saw Snow White.
