More craziness at the reception! This salubrious confection appears to be styled after H.R. Giger’s “Alien” design. Note the Bride and Groom Larval Aliens on the top. No word what is inside the cake or whether something comes jumping out of the cake’s belly.

Ok, so it is not really a wedding cake…or a groom cake…and we said we thought a Vader Head Cake would be less then salubrious… but then we got schooled from one of our readers about this very cool Vader Cake. Even though it is a birthday cake for kids, we asked ourselves the question…well, what, after all, is a groom cake, but a cake for a grown up kid!? Underneath the choco frosting is an enticing four layer cake carved into shape. Add some artistic talent and cue the sound effects a Vader head fit to be served!
Weddings come in all shapes and sizes. Some like the traditional veil and white lace. However, if you are from a Galaxy far far away and more to the point, from the planet Naboo, well, then, you might have a different take on this ancient custom. The attention to detail and the general overwhelming setup of the ceremony seems better put together then some of the Movies itself. I wonder if Lord Vader got his license to marriage online?

Ok let’s face it, when it comes down to the wedding, you really want all eyes to be on you. Well maybe not you, but definitely the Prewife. However, there is another part to the wedding, called the reception. You know, its that party you get to go to and drink all the free booze you want….. oooops, that’s right, you are paying for it.. so drink up.
This couple has set the bar pretty high for a Star Wars’ Themed wedding. Actually, they have set the bar pretty high for ANY themed wedding. Hell we thought we were geeking out when we went to Vegas and went the Paramount Star Trek Experience (different universe…I know). I even got my pic in Captain Jean Luc’s chair and ate at Quarks! In fact I was roasted by a Klingon and a Ferengie. Something about all expiring Bachelors must drink Romulan Ale… the rest is a blur.
